Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre
The Petawawa Military Family Reource Centre (PMFRC) is an incorporated, not for profit agency whose programs are designed to enhance the quality of life for military families.
We are part of the Military Family Services Program (MFSP), which was established in 1991. The MFSP is a national program in Canada with each individual Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) being incorporated as a not fpr profit organization in the province they are in. This allows for funding from other sources other than through the MFSP program. Petawawa is one of 32 not for profit MFRC's across Canada with Canadian Military Family Centres (C/MFRC) in the United States (five) and overseas (Six).
