Pembroke Regional Hospital
The Pembroke Regional Hospital is a regional acute care hospital with an annual operating budget of nearly 81 million dollars. The hospital is a designated district stroke centre for the region and provides a variety of acute, ambulatory care, and regional services including obstetrics, paediatrics, medical, surgical, mental health, rehabilitation, emergency and intensive care.
Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art surgical suites and a digital diagnostic imaging department which offers a wide variety of diagnostic modalities including CT, nuclear medicine, and soon to include, MRI. In addition, through the use of telemedicine, we partner with many other healthcare facilities as well as specialists who can provide their services to our region without having to travel the distance.
As part of our continuing efforts to bring health care services closer to home, recent service expansions have taken place in the areas of systemic therapy and geriatric programming, and work towards the development of an orthopedics program is underway.
Also recognized as a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine and other educational institutions, our skilled and dedicated healthcare professionals are committed to providing excellence in health services while working effectively with our healthcare partners.
