In 1987 the firm amalgamated with Lafrance, Shaw, Lafrance, adding H.W. Shaw, Q.C. and Bill Instance as partners. In the same year, sole practitioner Richard A. Reimer, previously practicing in Petawawa, joined the firm as a partner.

In 1997, Mark Huckabone and Tracy Lyle moved from Ottawa to join the firm and in 2004, Matthew Bradley joined the firm as partner.

Each of our lawyers has a specialized area of practice.  Our lawyers represent clients at all court levels, federally and provincially, and regularly appear before regulatory boards and administrative tribunals.

After thirty-five years of solicitor's work, Herb Shaw formally retired from the practice of law in the summer of 2000. Richard Reimer retired from the practice of law in the fall of 2000. Grant Radley-Walters was appointed as a judge to the Ontario Court of Justice in 2002.

Automation, Teamwork and Cost Efficiency

We are fully automated and all lawyers and staff have computer access to the latest legal decisions, articles and publications available on the Internet or any other computer based database information service. This leading edge computerization allows our firm to maximize research efficiency and document organization. This innovation results in cost efficient legal services for all clients.
