Huckabone, O'Brien, Instance, Bradley, Lyle
Senior partners, F. Allan Huckabone and Delbert A. O'Brien, founded the firm in 1966. Ten years later they were joined by Grant Radley-Walters, who had articled with the firm the previous year. In 1987 the firm amalgamated with Lafrance, Shaw, Lafrance, adding H.W. Shaw, Q.C. and Bill Instance as partners. In the same year, sole practitioner Richard A. Reimer, previously practicing in Petawawa, joined the firm as a partner.
In 1997, Mark Huckabone and Tracy Lyle moved from Ottawa to join the firm and in 2004, Matthew Bradley joined the firm as partner.
Each of our lawyers has a specialized area of practice. Our lawyers represent clients at all court levels, federally and provincially, and regularly appear before regulatory boards and administrative tribunals.
After thirty-five years of solicitor's work, Herb Shaw formally retired from the practice of law in the summer of 2000. Richard Reimer retired from the practice of law in the fall of 2000. Grant Radley-Walters was appointed as a judge to the Ontario Court of Justice in 2002.
