In 2010, the organization changed its name to "Renfrew County United Way". Since its inception, the efforts of the corporation, its volunteers and supporters have raised more than $5 million.
The traditional area of operations has been centered on Pembroke and Petawawa where the United Way has become a major vehicle for funding charitable agencies in the area. In 2009, UWOUV amalgamated with The Deep River United Way.
