Ontario SPCA Renfrew County – Upcoming Events
May 12th
– Duck Rescue – Quack! Quack! Quack!
The Ontario SPCA will be releasing 600 Rubber ducks at the Petawawa Catwalk beach on May 12 at 2:00 pm. Each will have a corresponding raffle ticket. $5 a duck with cash prizes awarded at the event. Buy your duck today at the shelter.
May 27th – Friends for Life! Walk-a-thon is not just a walk in the park. The walk is in support of animals, whether they be surrendered, stray or neglected. The OSPCA Renfrew County Branch is seeking sponsors for their event. Register today: www.ospcawalk.ca

Pembroke & Area Airport – Press Conference
The Pembroke & Area Airport is holding a press conference on Tuesday May 8th at 9:30 am to announce the results of the Air Travel Demand Feasibility Study that was circulated to the business community in the Fall of 2011. The Airport is also making a public announcement about having received funding through the Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) and what they have been able to do with this funding.
