Clean-up Days
Deep River Earth Day Community Cleanup – April 21st
If you live in Deep River, then here’s a chance for you to pay back in a small way to your community. The Deep River and Area Branch of the Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce is in the process of planning a Coordinated Community Cleanup for this year’s Earth Day activity and your participation would be greatly appreciated. The event runs 9 am -2 pm.
Register at Deep River Town Hall on the morning of April 21st, pick up a bag, fill it with trash, and return it. It is that simple.

Pembroke Clean-up Days – Two Opportunities to Help
There are 2 opportunities to assist in clean-ups in Pembroke.
The annual clean-up for Communities in Bloom is scheduled for Saturday April 28th from 9 am – 12:00 noon.
The first clean-up being put on by House of Crafts and Earth Rocks is taking place on Saturday April 21st. Starts at 10 am. People are to meet at Shamrock Park (corner of Pembroke St. West and Moffat Street)
