Bernadette McCann House for Women Inc. is a short term crisis intervention shelter for women.  Average length of stay 4 - 6 weeks.  We also provide services to children and youth up to age 16.  We provide individual and group support, education about the issue of abuse, resources, court accompaniment, day assessments, and safety palnning, and may provide transportation when available.  We have a 24 hr. helpline, and a website developed as a community resource.  www.wsssbmh.org

Our shelter is located in Pembroke, with outreach offices in Renfrew/Arnprior, Killaloe/Barry's Bay, Pembroke, Petawawa.  We are a non-profit organization.
