PIkwakanagan manages their own Administration for the community.  Six different departments are directed by separate managers.  The Administration Office offers the following services: Education, Social Services, Finance, Health, Public Works, Lands/Estates and Membership and Economic Development.

Economic Development's mandate is to ensure and promote economic and employment initiatives of First Nation members.  Business advisory services are provided as well as assistance in development of business plans and client based training.

Privately owned businesses are: Indian Summer Wild Rice,  Kokomis Cornes Gas Bar/Gift Shop, Two-Axe Creations, Commanda Construction Consulting, Sunset Trailer Park, CPS Security, Algonquin Smoke Shop, Shumway's Smoke & Bait Shop, R & T Smoke Shop, Smoke "N" Tires, Golden Lake Smoke Shop, Ben's Butts, Riverside Baits.
