Boys and Girls Club of Pembroke

 

Mission:  To provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.

PROGRAMMING

Community Supper

Tuesday 5-6pm @ Wesley Community Church

(ages 6-12) Nutritious meal prepared and served by our community partners.  If you or your

organization would like to prepare a meal for our kids  let us know. 


Rec Night

Tuesday 6:15-8pm @ Fellowes High School

(ages 6-12) Youth can choose to participate in sports, games, craft and drama.  This program relies heavily on our awesome volunteers.


Torch Club

Tuesday 6:15-8pm @ Fellowes High School

(ages 10-13) Youth focus on leadership, team building and social skills. 


Access Hockey

(ages 6-12)  This is a 10 week program offered during the winter months for children who have never played hockey before.  We work in partnership with Canadian Tire Jumpstart to provide equipment.


Keystone

(ages 13-18)  This youth driven leadership program will start in the spring and run  till July, wrapping up with a 2 day camping trip.  Stand up and be heard, make a difference in your community.


Before & After School  (ages 4-12)

We provide BAS services at 3 locations in the valley:  Rockwood PS, Laurentian Valley, St Anthony's CS, Chalk River and Knights of Columbus Hall, Pembroke.  (timings vary per location).   PA Day and March Break camps are also available. Healthy snacks, homework help and physical activity are just a few things we offer.  There is a daily fee for these services.


Clubhouse After School  (ages 6-12)

Located at 1144 Lea St in Pembroke.  We offer youth from the local area a healthy snack and a safe place to be.    Activities include crafts, recreation and life skill building opportunities.


Summer Camp

Full day summer recreation camp run from  June 30-August 29 2014.  Includes:  swimming, sports, games, field trips and so much more.  Register early!

 

Subsidy is available through County of Renfrew  for those that qualify.

 Annual Membership Fee: $30 per year
