2009 Lifetime Achievement Recipient To Be Announced at
UOV Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting
The Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday December 3rd, 2009 in the Centennial Room of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72. The guest speaker will be Mr. Dan Champagne, General Sales Manager CTV-/A\ (Ottawa).
The business portion of the meeting will follow the guest speaker and will include the election of the Board of Directors for 2010. Following remarks from the incoming President for 2010 will be the announcement of the 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient.
Outgoing President Gail Richardson remarked, “All Chamber Members are encouraged to attend the annual meeting. The Lifetime Achievement Award is a highlight of the Achievement Awards. The Board of the Directors thought the Annual General Meeting would be an excellent opportunity to make this announcement.”
The next major event for the Chamber will be the Annual Awards Gala on Saturday January 16, 2010 at the Germania Club Hall. Platinum Sponsor for the awards gala is Algonquin College. Tickets are $60/person and can be reserved by calling the Chamber office at 613-732-1492.
