The Acheivement Awards Gala is an annual event put on by the Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce to celebrate business excellence in eleven categories. It is the premier business event held in Upper Ottawa Valley. The ticket cost of $70.00 per person before December 31st (Jan 1st cost is $85/person), gives you a first class evening of dinning and entertainment.
To give you an example of what the evening is, this is the line up for the Achievement Awards Gala. This year’s gala will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Germania Hall in Pembroke.
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM Cocktails (cash bar)
6:45 PM - 8:30 PM Dinner (sit down meal)
8:30 - 10:30 PM Awards presentations
(taped by TV Cogeco for later re-broadcast)
In keeping with our format over the past years, the winner in each category is "discovered" when the presenter of the award opens the envelope.
The eleven categories that are honoured are:
Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Small Business (1 – 9 employees) Medium Business (10 – 29 employees)
Large Business (over 30 employees) Community Organization of the Year
Citizen of the Year New Business of the Year
Farm Enterprise of the Year 2011 Feature Award – Skilled Trades Employer of the Year
Chamber Member of the Year
Lifetime Achievement Award We are able to make these awards available through Business and Corporate Sponsorships.
All Achievement Awards Sponsorships are available on a first come, first served basis. Normally these sponsorships are seen as prime opportunities.
The levels of Sponsorship are as follows.
PLATINUM SPONSORSHIP $2,500.00 SOLD
GOLD SPONSORSHIP: $1,200.00 (Total of 9 - 5 SOLD and 4 still available)
SILVER SPONSORSHIP: $600 (Total of 9 - 4 SOLD and 5 still available)
GOLD PLUS SPONSORSHIPS: (2 available) (donation of prize valued at $2000 or more) (1 SOLD)
TABLE SPONSORSHIP: $250 (Total of 10 - 1 sold and 9 still available)
